Wines and spirits, takeaway and home delivery.
In the heart of the capital, a few steps from Campo de’ Fiori,
a historic roman restaurant with a menu based on great ingredients
on constant dialogue with the Deli, the salami and cheese counter and on genuine Roman and Italian cuisine.
Every Salumeria Roscioli’s wall, every depot, every underground cellar is full of bottles of wine. Alessandro Roscioli and Maurizio Paparello, head sommelier of the Salumeria, in almost 30 years have built an important collection of Italian and non-Italian labels (over 2800 labels). A rich, particular and deep wine collection with many historical vintages and collectible bottles.
“Roscioli, the bread, the kitchen and Rome” is a book that tells the hard work, the evolutions and the research of the Roscioli family from the post-war period untill today. The exploration of the history of the Antico Forno, the successes of a personal and unique Italian restaurant, one of the most beautiful wineries in Italy, a Pastry Café in the heart of Rome. Written by Elisia Menduni, with photos by Maurizio Camagna, published by Giunti in 2016, the book, in addition to proposing 30 iconic recipes of the Oven, of the Salumeria Roscioli Restaurant and of the Roscioli Coffee, also extends into the ancient roots of the capital’s bread-making, from the Romans to today.
